# DNS Setup

Each tier has a limit to the amount of domains you can have.

* Trial/Starter: 1 domain
* Growth: 3 domains
* Business: 5 domains
* Enterprise/Custom: Unlimited

Get started:

You can manage your domains at - <https://app.contacted.io/console/domains>

Enter your domain e.g. example.com

Once you have added your domain you will see the DNS records that need to be added to your registrar.

For this example we will use Cloudflare.

So we want to add our first record which is going to be txt.

We them simply copy the hostname and value into the record and click save.

We then need to click "Verify DKIM" for that new record we have added. DNS records can take some time to update, sometimes up to 24 hours.

Now your domain is "technically" setup and you can send emails, but we recommend also setting up Return-Path Record & DMARC to improve deliverability.

DMARC

We have provided an easy to follow example of a value you could have for your DMARC record. Simply add the record and verify your DMARC record. Some registrars vary in opt-in support.

**Sending Domains**

Once a domain has been added you can send from any address under that domain.

{% hint style="info" %}
E.g. <noreply@mydomain.com>, <support@mydomain.com>
{% endhint %}
